How The Artful Hen began
Back in 2001, The Artful Hen pioneered the life drawing hens party in Australia — and two decades on, we’re still the ones everyone copies.
Owned and run by women, we pair a gorgeous, fit professional model with champagne, music and games to create a hens celebration that’s equal parts sophisticated, cheeky and unforgettable. It’s the hens night your bride tribe will still be talking about years later.

What is life drawing?
Life drawing is simply the art of drawing the nude human figure from a live model — an age-old tradition, reimagined as a party.
Our experience introduces your group to this age-old art form through a mix of fun-filled games and exercises that just might bring out your inner artist. Our teachers ease everyone into the basics — no skill required — with a gorgeous (and completely naked) professional model as your muse.
